In short: tokens you have bought are non-refundable. Before you buy, you can scan your NAS, read the report, preview recovered files and recover 1 GB — all for free — so you can see what you would be paying for. If you live somewhere the law gives you a right to cancel, that right is not affected.
1. What you can try for free
- The recoverability scan and the folder-by-folder report.
- Previews of recovered photos and videos before anything is saved.
- 1 GB (1,000 tokens) of recovered files, once per NAS, without a card.
We offer these so that you can check the result on your own files before you pay. Please use them and start with a small test folder.
2. Purchased tokens are non-refundable
Tokens are digital credits that are used when a recovered file is saved to your PC or USB drive. Once tokens have been purchased, we do not refund them, whether used or unused, and tokens cannot be exchanged for money or transferred to another person.
3. Files that cannot be recovered cost nothing
Tokens are deducted only for files that are actually saved. If a file cannot be recovered, no tokens are deducted for it, and your NAS and the original encrypted file are left exactly as they were.
4. Your legal rights
This policy does not limit rights you have under the law of the country where you live. In particular:
- Consumers in the European Union, the United Kingdom and some other countries can have a right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days. That right can end for digital content once it has been supplied with your prior express consent, and you accept this when you save recovered files with tokens.
- Consumers in South Korea and some other countries can have a short right to cancel digital content after delivery. Where that right applies, we will honour it.
If you believe you have a statutory right to a refund, tell us using the contact details below and we will review your request in line with the law that applies to you.
5. Payments and Paddle
Orders are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record. Paddle issues your receipt and handles payment, tax and, where applicable, refunds under its own terms. You can also contact Paddle about a payment through the link in your receipt email. Paddle may in its own discretion decide to refund a transaction under its buyer terms; where it does, that decision is Paddle’s.
6. Billing mistakes
If you were charged twice, charged the wrong amount, or did not receive the tokens you paid for, contact us and we will put it right.
7. How to contact us
Write to support@nassalvage.com and include the email address you used at checkout and, if you have it, your Paddle receipt number.
